This New Western Digital 2TB USB External Hard Drives is fantastic in that it is quite small, doesn't require external power, and it is quite good looking. It is amazing how they fit 2 TB USB drive in such a small package. One bonus is that when I replace my computer in future with one that has USB 3.0 interface, this drive can handle that. (It works fine with USB 2.0 also.) The device looked and felt solid.

Overall WD 2TB External Hard Drive working fine.

Overall I am pleased with the drive. I have used it to backup 4 different laptops and it worked flawlessly on XP, Vista, and Win 7. I did not realize when I bought the system that it does not backup your system files with the included software, but only your e-mail, docs, pictures, videos, etc.

Plenty of room on the drive to do that, but the software does not provide that option. I was able to manually copy files to the drive outside of the backup software, so it is probably possible to do a full system backup with different software

I was sure about WD 2TB USB External Hard Drives this when I ordered it. I use it for backing up my internal hard drive. It is the fastest 2TB USB External Hard Drives I have used. It went from 2 hours to 40 min.

Received the product quickly and it installed just as it should. Currently working fine.

This drive is 2TB USB External Hard Drives in size and once the USB 3.0 PCIe controller is installed it works as fast as my USB External Hard Drives. Can't believe the great perform and the extra portability though many systems don't have USB 3.0 support yet.

The drive has a small white light on the front which lights to indicate activity and blinks slowly when the drive powers itself down due to lack of use. The case feels sturdy internally, but the sides are a thinner plastic and the top, bottom and rear have a plastic grill fdor air flow. I do not see a fan inside nor do I hear one but the drive only heats up a little whne running full steam. I have used it to backup my WD 2TB USB External Hard Drives RAID 0 array and after the backup was complete (about 567 GB) the top of the case was about 95 degrees or so. Not really hot just warm to the touch. Normally the top of the case is room temperature.

Overall I think this drives makes a great storage media and though lacking it does support both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 so it is set for the future.

Purchased 2 TB External Hard Drive

My company was recently hacked. Luckily we had tape backups. I purchased 2 of these drives to get images of our servers (7 in all) for any investigation (if necessary) and was able to get everything on both of these drives in just a few hours, restore our data from our tapes and get everything back online just in time for Monday morning. I have a feeling I will be upgrading my tape solution to an online data backup with these drives because of their speed in recovery and storage capacity.

I already recommended this drive to my friends and he went out and got one to backup his personal home computer. He was able to get his entire hard drive backed up and had no trouble with getting it setup.

I used 2TB USB External Hard Drives this drive to hook up to my Dish Vip211k box to make it a DVR. Went very smoothly, called dish, they activated whatever code on the account to make it possible, I hooked the hard drive up to the receiver, it formatted it for about 5 minutes, and that was it. Roughly 99 hours of HD recording space available, and 397 hours of standard. The best part is, I can't even hear this drive at all, even with my ear next to it, unlike the stock DVR's from Dish which you can hear from across the room. Very happy with this 2TB USB External Hard Drives purchase so far.

I brought this external hard disk for $ 128. This product was easy to install and faster than i expected. Overall, very nice product for a decent price. If you are looking for an ext hard drive, don't hesitate to buy this product. Great for backing up pc and viewing media with PS3. Have to convert to FAT32 to use with PS3, no big deal, easy to do. I've dropped it a few times moving it between computers and game systems but it still works perfectly fine. L.Gbur I've had this drive over a month and it has performed very well. It's a great value for the money.

This is a wonderful product! I use this in all environments, home, school, and work. There truly are apps to fit all needs!
As a doc student: reading journal articles is so much easier since I don't have to carry around paper copies; I can also take notes in the margins!
As a BCBA: I use this to work with children with autism, and am amazed daily how easily they navigate the device.
As a mom to a two year old: This device offers endless opportunities for introducing new and exciting games (both educational and fun). My daughter uses this device with ease and traveling is much easier. I don't have to pack a bag filled with toys she'll likely lose pieces to, I just rotate the apps available to her (just as I would with toys) to maintain her attention.

Greatest solution for easy web surfing, book reading and gaming. Some expensive (with 3G). Not needed any technical skills for using – great for wife, for children and all, who is not a geek. And – really long battery life.

Life is too full of gadgets, unify where you can. Add an iPad 3G to your life and you can toss the eBook readers, GPS units, and probably an old laptop or two. It's great in the house as an e-mail machine in the kitchen, and it's better in the car, where we might otherwise be arguing about directions. It fits very neatly into basically any portfolio or briefcase.

I have owned a Kindle and a Sony Reader. While I understand the benefits of e-ink, I have to say that they are a bit overstated. Yes, it is nice not to consume so little power and not have to deal with a back-lit screen to some extent. However, unlike my laptop or computer monitor, the iPad screen does not bother my eyes even after prolonged periods of reading. Also, it is terrific to be free from an external lighting source on airplanes or in bed. With the e-ink devices, I often felt that the glare from any of the booklights I tried was distracting and difficult on my eyes. I do not have that problem with the iPad. All of my Kindle books are just as enjoyable on the Kindle for iPad app. It's easy to use and the highlighting and dictionary features are even more useful without having to use the clumsy interface to navigate the Kindle screen.

I originally bought this device for traveling but I find I use the iPad much more than my laptop for everyday tasks like email, web-browsing and games. Given that I travel frequently, this device is a God-send. You don't even have to take it out of your luggage at airport security. I do a lot of word processing for my job and am just now beginning to get all the apps needed, and coordinated, to make the iPad useful for writing and storing documents. That task will not be as efficient as on my laptop, but to be able to write while traveling (without taking my laptop), it will suffice. The biggest downfall is the inability to use flash applications online. There are several business tasks I like to keep up with online while traveling that use flash, and at this point I can't access them. Apple has supposedly reversed their position on flash applications so I am hoping that developers jump on this quickly to make more web-based applications usable on the iPad.

It works great. You can use it as an e-reader, gaming console, mobile internet device, digital picture frame, portfolio, wireless mouse and keyboard for my computer, cookbook, word processor, smart home controller (so yes it can make my coffee), and more. The possibilities seem endless with all of the creative uses for it. 10 hour battery is conservative and can last days.

I don't need flash because html5 is taking over. I don't need a camera because I have an SLR and I have a laptop for chatting. I don't need a USB port because I can access everything I need wirelessly.

The first time I saw the iPad was when it was announced with much fanfare and I was instantly smitten. I've never been an Apple person and have stayed away from their products like crazy, but this thing really stuck in my mind. Once it was released I went to the Apple store and played with it, like so many other people, and I walked away still liking it. I figured I would play with it and walk away thinking that it wasn't worth the money or didn't work the way I wanted it to. I was wrong. I found myself looking up reviews just about everyday seeing what other people thought about it and finally happened to be in a store when they had some in stock and I took the plunge. Was I nervous? Yes. Was I afraid that it would just be a toy and that was it? Yes. Was I scared about the price? Yes. However, I typically feel that way before any large electronics purchase.

Excellent 17 inch Core i7

I have a desktop, an older MacBook Pro, and now this newest MacBook Pro. If you are looking for reliability and a virus free experience this is the only way to go. I have had great luck with all of my Apple computers. If you are new to Apple there is a brief learning curve to getting around on the Mac OS, but once you learn it your golden. My wife resisted going to a Mac for many months until I bought mine and showed her how great the experience was for her. She loved her Windows machine and was reluctant to change but I managed to win her over from the "Dark Side" by telling her that if she wanted to she could still run her windows programs on her Mac. She was sold. I set up her Mac with Boot Camp which is free so that if she had some Windows programs she needed to run she could. She loves it. Now if any of her friends are looking for a new computer she steers them to the Mac and tells them that you won't regret it. In fact she tells them "once you go Mac, you never go back". A great computer and a great user experience. The only downside is that they can be a little pricer than the others, but its a tradeoff. Pay me now, or pay me later. Its worth the price in the long run for the better quality computer. I love Macbook 17 Inch 2.8GHZ Core i7 very fast process my work.

If you like the bigger Laptop get Macbook 17inch one but the difference between the i5 and i7 is minimal for the average user. I bought this Mac 17inch 2.8 Ghz. Core i7 as a desktop replacement since I travel a lot. I removed the hard drive and bought an Intel SSD. THIS THING ROCKS. To long time in my life I have always been a PC lover, but I love this computer even more! There are no virus downloads that you have to worry with, and I also love the battery life. If you don't use a computer a lot then get a PC. This computer is made for people that use a computer a lot.

I have always used PCs at home and laptops for business. I finally made the switch to Mac Book Pro and I am extremely happy. The MacBook 17inch 2.8Ghz Core i7 out performs and provides the best visual clarity of any computer I have ever used. I doubt I will ever go back to my old PC. There is a learning curve to adjust to the different icons on the Mac but the difference between PCs and Apple is very minor. The Macbook 2.8Ghz is a solid quiet machine with quality as its first name. The only draw back to this machine is keeping it on your lap for any length of time due to its weight and the heat it produces.

This iPad Folio Case is of excellent design and is very well made. It is made from Real Leather and not 'pleather' or some imitation, so it feels good and wears well. The leather is sewn around a thin metal frame, which provides strength and protection. The iPad slides into the case's 'clips' tightly and doesn't slide out. Most of the other cases used imitation leather and had stretchy straps that covered part of the iPad's screen border area — both of which are undesirable. Even the cover clips into place, which keeps it shut without having to use an elastic strap. The case also has a stand setting that allows you to stand up the iPad for easy viewing or typing. I didn't think I'd use this feature, but it's come in handy. I looked at way too many iPad cases both online and in the store. This iPad Folio Case is by far the best and at the best price.

The flap itself closes very well and does not flap back and fourth. The only small gripe i have is that sometimes i cant tell which side is up because the flap blends in so well. The different viewing angles are a nice touch and the ipad itself fits very snug in the edges. I am not worried that it will fall out at all.

Overall, I am very happy with this iPad case and would recommend it to anyone.

This is a great Apple iPad case. I spent a good amount of time looking at different options and found that the combination of price with the video review on this product sold me. ALl of the other cases I was looking at seemed too big and bulky and had some kind of strap to hold the iPad in and keep the folio closed which is what I didnt like. This case is very sleek and form fitting to the iPad while providing enough protection for my use. What is my use? I only use my iPad in my house as a couch surfing device with the occasional plane flight. This iPad case is more than enough protection to throw into a backpack or a laptop bag and take with you wherever you go though.
